FINALISTEN 2021 - ABSTIMMEN und GEWINNEN

I have degrees in Industrial Design, Fine Art (Gold & Silversmithing) and Advanced Diploma Multimedia all gained at RMIT University. I am currently studying my Masters by Research at Ballarat University. I am an artist and teach Multimedia at TAFE.
I like to make anthropomorphic forms and to experiment in a variety of media. I draw influences from popular culture. My blog, ‘Repugnant Charm’ could sum up the nature of my work. I play with bringing enough beauty to an ugly object or making a beautiful object a little bit ugly. I do this by allowing myself to make mistakes and use them as a feature of my work. It brings a smile to my face and reminds me not to take myself too seriously.
