This is a design from back in 2007, when I was studying hand weaving at the Swedish university of textiles in Borås. The inspiration comes from old camera roles and tapes that has been spun out and tangled up.

Denna design ritade jag redan 2007, när jag studerade handvävning vid textilhögskolan i Borås. Den är inspirerad av gamla kamerarullar och kassettband som snurrats ut och trasslat in sig.

About Matilda Persson

Matilda Persson has a great passion for textile craft and is especially interested in recycling and ecology. She lives in Gothenburg with her husband and their three children who are her everything. Later this year she will be finishing her studies to become a dental nurse, although she has many years of different textile studies behind her, such as hand weaving, design and tailoring.

Mitt namn är Matilda Persson och jag har en stor passion för textilt hantverk och brinner särskilt för återvinning och ekologi. Jag bor i Göteborg med min man och våra tre barn som är mitt allt. Senare i år kommer jag vara färdig tandsköterska, men har också många år av olika textila utbildningar bakom mig, bland annat inom handvävning, design och skrädderi.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
