The design tends to represent a two-dimensional composition that in spite of simplicity and avoidance of unnecessary details can cause a viewer to have an optical illusion in which s/he might take a two-dimensional composition as three-dimensional one. The simplicity and the avoidance of multiplicity of micro elements are important because; first this can simplify the production process, and second considering the centrality of the creation of modern feelings, the design simplicity can help to achieve this goal. In terms of style, the carpet composition is inspired by “Optical art movement” artworks, but the difference is that instead of using black and white color scheme that is the component of optical art movement, the bright and vivid colors are used as the characteristics of “pop art” artworks. For the designer such a color choice can lead to a better interaction among user, product, and space; and this changes the output of the design process into an emotional product. At the ideation phase, the Generative design approach is used because it generates a wide variety of outputs. Among the ideation phase outputs, one was chosen as the basis of design idea. Inserting some important changes on the basic idea, the final output was created. Because of the similarity of final composition to Zebra texture the name “Zebra” was selected. On the other hand because of the suggested colors for the design, the word "pop" was added. Eventually “Zebra-Pop” can be seen as an attempt to create a distinct emotional product that is highly influencial in three-dimensional space because of the optical illusions leading to the user’s three-dimensional interpretation of a two-dimensional composition.

در این طراحی هدف ارائه ی یک ترکیب بندی دو بعدی است که در عین سادگی و پرهیز از جزئیات غیر ضروری بتواند خطایی بصری را در راستای سه بعدی دیده شدن اثر به کاربر القا کند. سادگی و پرهیز از تعدد عناصر میکرو از دو جهت حائز اهمیت است؛ اول آنکه این امر میتواند منجر به تسهیل فرآیند تولید محصول گردد و دوم آنکه با توجه به محوریت قرار گرفتن ایجاد حال و هوایی مدرن و امروزی، سادگی کار میتواند به تحقق این هدف کمک کند. از نظر سبکی، ترکیب بندی فرش با الهام از آثار هنرمندان جنبش اوپتیکال آرت خلق شده است، با این تفاوت که در ترکیب رنگ به جای استفاده از رنگهای سیاه و سفید که از مؤلفه های اوپتیکال آرت محسوب میشوند، از رنگهایی شفاف و روشن که از مشخصه های آتار هنر پاپ هستند استفاده شده است. به عقیده ی طراح این انتخاب رنگ میتواند منجر به ایجاد تعاملی بهتر بین کاربر و محصول و فضا شود؛ و خروجی فرآیند طراحی را به محصولی احساسگرا تبدیل کند. در مرحله ی ایده پردازی ، از رویکرد طراحی مولد استفاده شده است، چرا که استفاده از این رویکرد میتواند گستره ی وسیعی از خروجی ها را ایجاد کند. از بین خروجی های متفاوت مرحله ی ایده پردازی، یکی به عنوان ایده ی اولیه طراحی انتخاب گردید. با اعمال تغییراتی مهم بر روی این ایده ی اولیه، خروجی نهایی به دست آمد. به دلیل شباهت ترکیب بندی نهایی به تکسچر گورخر نام زبرا برای آن انتخاب گردید. از طرفی به دلیل رنگهای پیشنهادی برای طرح ، واژه ی پاپ به آن اضافه شد. نهایتا "زبرا-پاپ" را میتوان تلاشی برای خلق یک محصول متمایز احساسگرایانه دانست که در فضای سه بعدی بسیار تأثیرگذار است. دلیل این تأثیرگذاری خطای دیدی است که به واسطه ی آن کاربر دریافتی سه بعدی از ترکیب بندی دو بعدی فرش خواهد داشت.
