I am a textile designer interested in surface design, colours, pattern, techniques and material. My favourite tools are pens and brushes. Every design first starts with a drawing, painting or a photgraphy I did. Craft is the most important point in my work,equally making a fabric or doing an illustration.

Ich studiere Textildesign und interessiere mich für alle Gebiete, die das Flächendesign berühren, wie alte Handwerkstechniken, Farben, Stimmungen, Muster und Material.
Vor meinem Studium des Textildesign habe ich eine Ausbildung im Grafikdesign absolviert. Meine liebsten Werkzeuge sind Stift, Feder und Pinsel, mit denen ich Illustrationen oder Muster enstehen lassen kann. Handwerk ist sehr wichtig in meiner Arbeit. Jeder Entwurf beginnt mit einer Fotografie, Malerei oder Zeichnung, die ich gemacht habe. Egal ob ich ein Textil über die Techniken Weberei oder Stricken entstehen lasse, oder einen Musterentwurf mache, alles findet von Hand statt, bevor es im Computer weiter verarbeitet wird.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
