The inspiration of the design was a barcode. White and black lines can be understood as a coded source of information about work and it’s author. Coloured version of the carpet could be the beginning of a new form of information code.

Inspiracją projektu był motyw kodu kreskowego. Czarne i białe linie mogą być zakodowanym źródłem informacji o dziele i jego twórcy. Wersja kolorowa dywanu może być początkiem nowej formy kodowania informacji za pomocą koloru.

About Marzena Sieradzka

Marzena Sieradzka was born on March 28, 1981 in Lubliniec, Poland. She studied architecture at the Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice(2000-2006). Since 2006, she works as an architect. She is interested in interior design, graphic design and photography.

Marzena Sieradzka urodziła się 28 marca 1981r. w Lublińcu. W latach 2000-2006 studiowała na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Śląskiej w Gliwicach. Od 2006r. pracuje jako architekt. Interesuje się architekturą wnętrz, grafiką i fotografią.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
