Originally constructed using hand cut paper shapes, this design is inspired by the simplistic, elegant qualities of mid century design and the fabulous textile designer Lucienne Day. Abstract forms inspired by the atomic age create a modern design with a retro edge.

About Caroline Pratt

Caroline Pratt is a printmaker and surface pattern designer based in Leeds, UK. Her love for nature and the great outdoors is combined by a passion for bold modernist textiles of the 1950s, resulting in prints which have a strong retro feel.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
