One of my greatest passion in life is to travel to places I have never visited before. The colours, the smell, the trees, the houses and the people of course and there languages
I would really love to go to Papua New Guinea one day. And the colours of the rug is an association of how I imagine life there. The egg shape is nicely asymmetrical and yet balanced.

En av mina allra största passioner i livet är att resa till platser jag aldrig varit på förut. Färgerna, lukterna, träden, husen, maten och förstås människorna och deras språk.
Till Papua Nya Guinea skulle jag väldigt gärna åka. Och mattans färger är en associationer av hur jag tänker mig livet där. Äggformen är skönt asymmetrisk men ändå balanserad.

About Susanna Hellström

My name is Susanna Hellström and I live in a small village by the Lulea River, a bit south from the Arctic circel. I have almost all my life worked or studied art and design, in some form. My 14 years in Oslo Norway, I worked as an interior designer at IKEA or with a varied numbers of interior magazines as a interior stylist. In between, if I were not traveling around somewere, I worked as a scenographer, with costymedesign or ceramic teacher.
Now I´m a student again, to become an art pedagogue 2014.
Schools I´ve studied at is Mullsjö fhsk in Mullsjö Sweden, Phillips University Enid OK. US, Wolff rekl. og dek.skole, now Westerdals school of communication Oslo, Norway and Sunderby fhsk, Sunderbyn Sweden.

Jag heter Susanna Hellström och bor i en liten by i Luleälvdal, en bit söder om Polcirkeln. Jag har nästan hela livet jobbat eller studerat någonting som har med konst och design att göra. Mina 14 år i Oslo ägnades mest åt som inredare för IKEA eller stylist för olika inredningstidningar. Där emellan, om jag inte åkt iväg på äventyr, som scenograf, rekvisitör, kostymdesigner eller keramikkurslärare tex.
Nu är jag student igen och ska bli konstpedagog till våren.
