“Plums” are a vivid pattern inspired mostly by the beautiful colour of these fruit. Simple form brings harmony into the composition. It also refers to my childhood memory of delicious homemade plum cake.

Śliwki to wzór zainspirowany przede wszystkim piękną barwą tych owoców. Prosta forma wprowadza harmonię do kompozycji. Odnosi się ona również do mojego wspomnienia z dzieciństwa - pieczonego w domu pysznego ciasta ze śliwkami.

About Aleksandra Żukowska

Aleksandra Żukowska was born in 1985 in Gdańsk, Poland. She graduated with a MA from Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 2012. She is currently at the final stage of Graphic Design studies and she works as a freelance designer at the same time. In her designs she concentrates on colour, harmony and simplicity.

Aleksandra Żukowska urodziła się w 1985 r. w Gdańsku (Polska). Zdobyła tytuł magistra sztuki na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku w 2012 r. Obecnie kończy Grafikę i jednocześnie pracuje jako grafik freelancer. W swoich projektach skupia się na barwie, harmonii i prostocie.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
