About Sara Gaspar

My name is Sara and I am 35 years old. I\'ve been a graphic designer for 15 years now. The focus of my work has been on food packaging and branding, and in this contest I saw an oportunity of doing something outside my comfort zone.

As a graphic designer I see an inspiration in everything! For this work, I took inspiration from my daily urban commute, my recent holidays in the nature, a box of cookies I\'m currently designing, and the illustrations for children I do as a hobby. We just need to know how to process everyday images!

Chamo-me Sara e tenho 35 anos. Sou designer gráfica há 15. Especializei-me em packaging de alimentação e branding, e neste concurso vi uma oportunidade de sair da minha zona de conforto.

Como designer, vejo inspiração em tudo! Para este trabalho inspirei-me no meu dia-a-dia urbano, nas férias que fiz na natureza, na embalagem de bolachas que estou a desenhar, e nas ilustrações para crianças que faço nos meus tempos livres. O segredo é saber observar e processar as imagens que nos invadem diariamente!

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
