I wanted to make a carpet using one single shape. Therefore I chose the rectangle. It has an easy shape and combined you can interpret it to illustrate alot of motives, for example skyscarpers. To make the carpet appear clean I used 3 different saturations on the same color.

Jeg ville lage et teppe ved å kun bruke en form. Derfor valgte jeg rektangelet. Den har en enkel for og når du legger til mange andre rektangler kan det illustrere mange forskjellige motiver, som for eksempel skyskrapere. For å gjøre teppet "så enkelt som mulig", brukte jeg 3 forskjellige metninger av samme farge.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
