Bilden symboliserar hjärtats kraft. Idag dör många kvinnor i hjärtinfarkt, mer vanligt än cancer. I verket är hjärtats form knappt urskiljbart i vita ränder. I kvinnogestalten finns istället ett trassel i hjärttrakten. Känslor och kroppen styr livet.

Malin Wikström is an artist from Sweden, Gävle. Born in 1971. She has working as an artist from 1999. In the studio she often do paintings and sculptures. And graphic. In mixed media; textil and plactic and conctrete. She is involved in exhibitions at regular basis.

Member Of: KRO/ The Swedish Artist National Organization, The cooperativ workshop för fine art print making in Gävle.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
