The colors in the carpet will be perceived differently depending on the angle you view it from.
Mahal carpet from Persia / Iran.
This carpet is woven in Mahalat southwest of the capital Teheran. The carpet is woven with beautiful shining wool and it has regular knotting making it one of the strongest of the Persians. The knot used is Senneh and the weft is cotton.
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.
Carpet Vista are an efficient company to deal with, less can be said trying to pay the import duty here in Jersey!

Remarkable service, quality products
High quality and excellent service
The rug we ordered is of high quality and exactly as described on the website. The ordering process was very easy and transparent and the rug was delivered very promptly. Altogether, the service we have received from CarpetVista has been excellent.
Everything really fine
High quality and speedy delivery
Really beautiful, high quality carpet, and can't believe, how quickly it got delivered. Makes me want to order more, although I definitely don't need any more.. There is some sort of slightly darker band going along one end of the rug, as if there has been a sello-tape stuck there, but you can't see it too well and I think it will blend in over time.
