Anna Nordbø

Anna Helene Nordbø. Born in a small cramped and dreary village south of Norway. My mother and father were creative and let me unfold my creativity and skills.
I spent much of my childhood in the woods, mountains and river side.
This has affected me as a human being. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature.
I love the snow. Walking outside in snowy landscape puts my mind in a calm atmosphere. A harmony that is hard to describe. I have been on many painting courses in Denmark. Once asked my English teacher, "why are you painting as tall dark mountain. You are in Denmark" Because I am Norwegian, mountains are inside me, I replied. I love to travel, meet other people and cultures. But in the face of art acquires nature me. Most often in an abstract expression.
