Stone Patio black di Heikki Kröger

I got the idea of the Stone Patio carpet design when I was making a slate path in front of our sauna building in Vehmersalmi, Finland. The colours of the second version come from the autumn forest, but their origin could be in Africa as well.

Sain idean Stone Patio matoon tehdessäni luonnonkivistä polkua saunallemme Vehmersalmella. Värit toiseen versioon tulevat syksyisen metsän väreistä, mutta yhtä hyvin ne voisivat tulla Afrikasta.

Sulla Heikki Kröger

Heikki Kröger is a surgeon and bone scientist with a second life in arts. He is inspired by contrasts in daily life and colours of the nature, picking up ideas from them to his work. This is the first design competition he participates in.

Heikki Kröger on kirurgi ja luututkija, jonka toinen elämä on taiteissa. Hän saa innostuksensa töihinsä elämän kontrasteista ja luonnossa olevista väreistä. Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta kun hän osallistuu muotoilukilpailuun
