Borostyán I. (Circumpunct) de Anna Bodó

This one was also inspired by nature. The irregularity and the randomness of natural shapes are the main highlights, these were the motivations to create this vegetal ivy ornamentation, with a heavy focus on maintaining its vegetal nature and origin.
The word of "circumpunct" can be interconnected with multiple different symbolisms – i.e. celestial body, sun, fire, gold -, this materializes as the concentric patterns and the dominant colors.

Ennél a munkámnál is a természet inspirált. A természeti formák szabálytalansága és rendszertelensége késztetett kialakítani – a borostyán növényi ornamentikát – úgy egy szerkezetté, hogy annak növényi mivolta megmaradjon.
A névhez több szimbolika vonatkoztatható, - égitest, nap, tűz, arany… - ezek alapján alakítottam ki a körkörös motívumot és ennek megfelelően alkalmaztam a látható színeket.

Sobre Anna Bodó

I was born in 1994, Hungary. I have graduated in “Textile production and design” from Tömörkény István Secondary Grammar School and Art School, in my hometown, Szeged. To further my knowledge and expertise, I have started my higher education at the University of Szeged, majoring in “Architectural plate glass elaboration and design” – this is still ongoing currently.
In my artworks, I strive to create something new, an exciting system of organic and geometric shapes, blurs and details.

1994-ben születtem Magyarországon. Szülővárosomban – Szegeden - fejeztem be középiskolai tanulmányaimat a Tömörkény István Gimnázium és Művészeti Szakközépiskola Textil szakán, majd kezdtem el Főiskolai éveimet a Szegedi Tudományegyetem Juhász Gyula Pedagógusképző Karon, Építészeti síküveg szakirányon, ahol jelenleg is tanulok.
Munkáimban legfőképp a geometrikus és organikus formák, foltok, részletek egyesítésével próbálok kialakítani egy új és izgalmas rendszert, így létrehozni valami újat.
