About Cecilia Miotto

I'm a young Italian architect. I like to draw (or better, I try to do it): my notebook is my memory, sketches are my souvenirs. I'm interested about nature and people: I love observing and discovering hidden detail and personalities.
Someone tell me that I'm a little bit naive, but I really trust the good face of things.
When I want to create something I just close my eyes, free my thought and try to put my state of mind in a physical form. My carpets were born from souvenirs (the African mask), landscapes (the moon and the tree) and dreams (elephants and African fantasy). Their very different each others, but I love differences.

Sono un giovane architetto italiano. Mi piace disegnare (o almeno ci provo): il mio quaderno è la mia memoria, i miei schizzi i miei ricordi. Mi interessano la natura e le persone: amo osservare e scoprire dettagli personalità nascoste.
Qualcuno mi dice che sono un po' ingenua, ma ho molta fiducia nel lato positive delle cose.
Quando voglio creare qualcosa chiudo gli occhi, lascio correre i pensieri e cerco di dare una forma reale al mio stato d'animo. I miei tappeti sono nati da ricordi (la maschera africana), paesaggi (la luna e l'albero) e sogni (gli elefanti r la fantasia africana). Sono molto diversi tra loro, ma io amo le differenze.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
