This artwork’s real size is 1x1m, acrylic 2016. I took inspiration from oil contaminated water. I wanted to capture power of the moment and the colors. Vibrant primary colors may seem heavy and they are supposed to represent ecological impact on our environment.

Toto dielo má skutočný rozmer 1x1m, akryl 2016. Inšpiráciou pre moju prácu bola vodná hladina znečistená olejovými škvrnami. Chcela som zachytiť silu momentu a hru farieb. Sýte farebné tóny základných farieb sa javia ako ťažké a poukazujú na ekologický aspekt tohto momentu.

My name is Zdenka Smalecová, I am 17 years old. I live in Košice, Slovakia, where I am currently studying at The School of Applied Arts. I am second-year student in art and design. I like drawing, painting, digital art and interior design.

Excellent Service and Products
I wanted to reserve a carpet as I was abroad when I made my choice and there was only 1 left. I was able to telephone and speak to a very helpful lady who arranged for the carpet to be delivered 2 days after my return 3 weeks later. A week later, I chose another one with a 10% further discount for buying again and that arrived promptly also after another discussion with another helpful lady. I now have 2 fabulous rugs at a very decent price. Yes, the 'Handloom Fringe' carpet is shedding where one sits but I well remember a fitted carpet shedding for 6 months prior to stopping. So I hope it will stop eventually. DPD deliver promptly.
