Colour of your life by Marco Gionta

When I created this, I listened to the 2016 Eurovision song "Color of your life" that inspired the choice of colors. I created an abstract image, geometric, very clean, with soft, soothing, relaxing colors, with a vibrant and unexpected touch, given by the Salmon color declinations. It could be a stylish carpet in a minimal and contemporary lounge.

Quando ho creato questa immagine, ascoltavo la canzone Eurovision "Color of your life" che ha ispirato la scelta dei colori. Ho creato un'immagine astratta, geometrica, molto pulita, con colori tenui, rassicuranti, riposanti, con un tocco vibrante e inaspettato, dato dalle declinazioni del color salmone. Potrebbe essere un tappeto elegante in un salotto minimale e contemporaneo.

I'm a graphic designer, born and raised in Italy but constantly inspired by the style clean, yet cozy, typical of the Nordic countries. Although I usually use dynamic and vibrant colors for my abstract paintings, I recently added a selection of fresh, restful and relaxing hues to my personal palette: a bit of salmon, different shades of blue, light gray, ice white, a little of beige and some touches of green. As for the style, my illustrations - used especially for art prints - explore the essence of painting itself and represent nothing but themselves. Innumerable forms are combined into one, they simplify and eliminate in a single image. It is an art sensual and straightforward that everyone can "feel", perceive and experience in the same way.

Sono un grafico, nato e cresciuto in Italia ma costantemente ispirato dallo stile essenziale, pulito, ma allo stesso tempo accogliente, tipico dei paesi nordici. Sebbene solitamente utilizzi colori dinamici e vibranti per i miei dipinti astratti, recentemente ho aggiunto alla mia palette personale una selezione di tinte fresche, riposanti e distensive: il color salmone, differenti gradazioni di blu, il grigio chiaro, il bianco ghiaccio, il beige e alcune pennellate di verde.
Le mie illustrazioni - utilizzate prevalentemente per stampe artistiche - esplorano l’essenza della pittura stessa e rappresentano null’altro che se stesse. Innumerevoli forme si combinano in una sola, si semplificano e si eliminano in un'unica immagine. È un’arte sensuale e lineare che tutti possono “sentire”, percepire e sperimentare nello stesso identico modo.
