These beautiful and impressive carpets are hand-knotted in Iran, and are one of many typical Persian carpets. Keshan carpets are often characterised by a large, central medallion surrounded by beautiful floral design elements, giving them a distinctive Oriental feel. These carpets are usually red with a darker border, and sometimes have an all-over pattern with no central medallion.
