You can easily calculate the knot density yourself by counting the number of knots 1 cm down and 1 cm across, and then multiplying these numbers together. Then multiply the total by 10,000 to give the number of knots per m².

Taspinar is a small village in the carpet weaving area of Nigde in central Anatolia. The carpet has a prodominantly blue and red field enlivened by delicate motifs in lighter shades. The yarn is of high quality and naturally dyed. The taspinar carpet is among the most beatiful of all Anatolian carpets.
