Love Terins
Love Terins is a young Swedish artist based in Oslo, Norway. She is primarily working with large scale paintings, exploring how art can be both a visual and bodily experience. With her use of patterns, shapes and colour contrasts she translates this experience into her carpet designs.

Portal Rug - Dark green carpet from India.
Handtufted carpets are made by hand using high quality raw materials, but rather than having knots that need to be tied, a special ”tufting gun” is used to push loops of yarn through a scrim (pre-woven backing). The last stage in the production is trimming the pile to the desired length, thereby exposing the thread ends for a softer pile.
This technique allows for a quick and effective process and gives the weaver more freedom and range to create detailed patterns and shapes otherwise restricted in handknotted carpets. The end result is a long lasting high quality carpet at an affordable price.
Durable Wool 
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.
