This carpet is knotted by Armenians in the village of Lilihan, in the Arak district in western Iran. The carpet is generally thick and colourful, dominated by pink. The pattern often consists of curvilinear floral motifs, but also geometric ones occur. The wool is of good quality which makes the carpet beautiful and worth its price.
