This carpet is hand knotted/woven; therefore, difference in shape, thickness, pattern and sizes can occur. This applies particularly to nomadic and village carpets.

Knotted in workshops in India these carpets are slightly rougher and often have modern patterns. Due to Western demands many carpets can be found in soft pastel coloured tones.
