Purchase
When placing an order, the agreement of purchase is reached when your payment has been transferred.

Prices
All prices are inclusive of VAT, shipping (see information further down on this page) and, if applicable, duty if any of the countries mentioned on this page is the shipping address.
We reserve the right to change our prices due to changes in exchange rates or changes in the world carpet market.

Delivery
All deliveries are handled by UPS.
We are unable to ship to box addresses.

UPS Terms and Conditions of Carriage

Delivery-time
Normal delivery-time is 1-5 working-days within the EU and 2-8 working-days to other parts of the world.

30 days purchase on approval / Satisfied customer warranty
As a private person you have 30 days purchase on approval. You can return your carpet within 30 days and get your money back. The carpet has to be in unaltered condition and should not have been used. You have to package the carpet the same way as it was when you received it. Read more on return below. The customer pays for the shipping costs in both directions. 30 days purchase on approval only applies to shipments within the EU. The 30 days purchase on approval does not apply to companies.

Authenticity certificates
We guarantee that the delivered carpet is hand knotted and agrees with the description on CarpetVista.com. With each order, a signed authenticity certificate is attached.

Warranty
Of course you have warranty on all products bought from us. The warranty is applicable for 1 year from the date you receive your carpet. As a Swedish customer the konsumentköplagen applies.

If the customer refers to the warranty and it is judged that the damage depends on bad handling by the customer the customer will pay the costs of any reparation. Our expert staff will in the first place determine the cause of the damage. The customer pays all shipping costs in case of warranty reparations.

The right to exchange goods if you are not satisfied
You have the right to change your carpet if you are not satisfied with your purchase. If you want to change your carpet please contact the customer service department and they will help you with your change. The carpet has to be in the same condition as when you bought it and it should have not been used. The customer is responsible for both costs of shipping; that is onward and return shipping. The right to exchange goods if not satisfied applies only to deliveries made within the EU.

Return
When sending back a carpet you first have to contact us to get a return dispatch note. It is your responsibility that the carpet arrives in an undamaged condition. Make sure that the carpet is well packed. The return is not completed until we have received and examined the returned gods. When a return is completed the same card you used for the purchase will be credited.

If we receive returning gods without the proper return dispatch note the goods will be sent back at the customer's expense.

VAT free for companies within the EU
Companies that are VAT registered in an EU country other than Sweden and that can show a valid EU VAT number will not be charged the Swedish 25% VAT. The prices on the website are shown with VAT; the VAT is drawn at checkout after you have logged in or registered. We deliver only to the address where the company is registered. Card payment
CarpetVista.com handles secure card payments in collaboration with Samport, Handelsbanken, Visa and MasterCard.

Card payment is a safe method of payment for you as a customer. The selling company will never have knowledge of your card or account information. This information is securely transferred to an encrypted link from you through Samport Payment gateway to your bank.

Advance payment
If you don't like to use a credit card you can transfer the money direct to our bankaccount. You have to pay the complete amount in 5 days or you order will be discarded. Always state your order number when paying. We will send your carpets as soon as your payment is recieved.

Error on delivery
If something is wrong with your delivery, or if you receive the wrong or a damaged carpet or the wrong number of carpets please contact customer service immediately. The error has to be reported no later than two days after the goods have been received, reports received later will not be taken into consideration.

Transportation damages
Visible damage to the goods shall be reported directly to UPS when receiving the package. Hidden damages from transportation have to be reported to UPS as soon as they are discovered.

Seconds
Goods in the "seconds" classification have minor flaws or faults which are shown in the description of the item. Should a carpet be returned because of a known fault, there will be no compensation for shipment; the customer is held liable for shipment and return shipment.

Carpets that are not received by the customer and returned to us
Carpets that are ordered and not received or are returned to us will be charged full shipping costs both ways; namely onward and return shipping, plus and extra charge of 395 SEK including VAT for our costs. Special ordered products are charged the full value and onward shipping and return shipping.

Confidentiality when handling personal information
When placing an order or registering as a customer we will store your personal information. By doing this you accept that we store the information we need to complete the handling of your order and give you the best service you expect from us.

CarpetVista.com will not give any personal information to any third party. According to Swedish law on handling of personal information, you can get an excerpt of all information we have stored about you and, if it is not relevant, you can ask us to delete the information. In case you wish to have the excerpt please contact our customer service.

Cookies
CarpetVista.com uses cookies to deliver a convenient shopping experience. If your web-browser is set to not accept cookies you will not be able to use the shop. If that is the case, you can easily change this setting.

Gift Certificates
The gift certificate is only valid for purchases of products sold by CarpetVista and cannot be combined with other gift certificates. (Should you be in possession of two or more gift certificates and wish to use them in the same transaction, please contact our customer service so that the proper arrangements can be made.)

The certificate is valid until and including the date shown on the certificate.

Once you have purchased your gift certificate you cannot redeem it for cash.

A confirmation email will be sent to you once you receive the gift certificate and you can either choose to have your certificate code sent to you by email or ordinary post.

If you buy a carpet with your gift certificate and decide to return the carpet, you will receive another gift certificate with the value of the carpet, less the shipping costs incurred during the return.

If you have any balance from a previous purchase on your gift certificate, you may use it for a carpet purchase. But if you purchase a carpet with a higher value than the gift certificate you should pay for the difference by bank transfer.

The gift certificate should be considered as cash, since it has a value and you should take care of it. CarpetVista will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged gift certificates.
