Purchase
When placing an order, the agreement of purchase is reached when your payment has been transferred.

Prices
All prices are inclusive of VAT, shipping (see information further down on this page) and, if applicable, duty if any of the countries mentioned on this page is the shipping address.
We reserve the right to change our prices due to changes in exchange rates or changes in the world carpet market.

Delivery
All deliveries are handled by UPS.
We are unable to ship to box addresses.

Terms and conditions – deliveries within United States

UPS - Standard delivery
Shipping cost € 140

Standard packages are delivered on working days between 09-00 and 17.00
Delivery to the address you have stated.
Delivery time 2 - 5 days*

* The delivery time applies to orders that are placed on weekdays before 15.00.
For orders that are placed on weekends or after 15.00 the delivery time is counted from the following working day.
The order is completed once we have received full payment. If you pay by card we receive the payment instantly. If you pay by bank transfer it may take one or two days longer.

30 day money back guarantee
As a private person you have 30 day money back guarantee. You can return your carpet within 30 days and get your money back. The carpet has to be in unaltered condition and should not have been used. You have to package the carpet the same way as it was when you received it. More detailed information can be found under "Return". The customer pays for the shipping costs in both directions.

Authenticity certificates
We guarantee that the delivered carpet is hand knotted and agrees with the description on CarpetVista.com. With each order, a signed authenticity certificate is attached.

Warranty
Of course you have warranty on all products bought from us. The warranty is applicable for 1 year from the date you receive your carpet. As a Swedish customer the konsumentköplagen applies.

If the customer refers to the warranty and it is judged that the damage depends on bad handling by the customer the customer will pay the costs of any reparation. Our expert staff will in the first place determine the cause of the damage. The customer pays all shipping costs in case of warranty reparations.

Return
When sending back a carpet you first have to contact us to get a return dispatch note. It is your responsibility that the carpet arrives in an undamaged condition. Make sure that the carpet is well packed. The customer pays for return shipping. We can arrange for safe return shipping by UPS at a fixed price of € 140 regardless of how many carpets you return at any one time, exceptions to this rule apply to carpets over 15 sqm where we can help arrange for return shipping at cost price.

The return is not completed until we have received and examined the returned goods. When a return is completed the same card you used for the purchase will be credited.

If we receive returning goods without the proper return dispatch note the goods will be sent back at the customer's expense.

VAT free for companies within the EU
Companies that are VAT registered in an EU country other than Sweden and that can show a valid EU VAT number will not be charged VAT. The prices on the website are shown with VAT; the VAT is drawn at checkout after you have logged in or registered. Exceptions to this rule apply to countries where we are registered for VAT, see list below. When ordering from any of the countries listed below you will be charged the local VAT rate and can then deduct this in accordance with your country's tax rules. We deliver only to the address where the company is registered.

Card payment
CarpetVista.com handles secure card payments in collaboration with DIBS, Handelsbanken, Visa and MasterCard.

Card payment is a safe method of payment for you as a customer. The selling company will never have knowledge of your card or account information. This information is securely transferred to an encrypted link from you through DIBS Payment gateway to your bank.

Bank transfer
If you don't like to use a credit card you can transfer the money direct to our bankaccount. You have to pay the complete amount in 5 days or you order will be discarded. Always state your order number when paying. We will send your carpets as soon as your payment is recieved.

Invoice
If you have a Swedish social security number or company registration number, you can order against invoice and pay after having received the ordered products. Please note that an administrative handling fee of 39 SEK will be added to your total order value. Klarna is the company we collaborate with to offer you this method of payment and if you have questions regarding the billing procedure, please feel free to contact Klarna on telephone 0046 (0)8-120 120 00. When you choose to pay against invoice, a standard credit review will be undertaken at check-out and Klarna runs a cross check against your personal/company's credit report. If payments are received after the deadline a statutory fee of SEK 50 and delayed interest rate will be charged. In the event of debt collection, the debt collection company's costs will also be charged.

Monthly installment payments
Through a partnership with Klarna, we are able to offer you the opportunity of splitting up your payment. There are several options to choose from and you choose the number of month's over which you wish to pay at check-out. Please note that you can at any time during the payment period choose to pay off the entire remaining debt at no additional cost. As a Klarna debit account holder you can have anywhere from 1 000 SEK to 50 000 SEK on your down payment account. Any purchase you make through Klarnas debit account service will be compiled to your monthly billing account.

You can conveniently apply for monthly installment payment at check-out in connection with your purchase. You simply choose "monthly installment" as your method of payment and indicate the number of months over which you intend to pay. After a quick cross check has been run through Klarna's system you receive notification if your application can be granted and your order is immediately able to be processed at the warehouse. An account is automatically set up with Klarna if the purchase is greater than 1 500 kr and an account contract agreement is posted to you. In the event that your application is not granted, you can go back to check-out and choose an alternate payment method.

The effective interest rate on purchases of 10 000 SEK with a down payment of 12 months is currently 12.31%. Your application is cross checked against a normal credit check which authorises Klarna to obtain a credit report. You are invited to contact Klarna on 08 120 120 00 if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Error on delivery
If something is wrong with your delivery, or if you receive the wrong or a damaged carpet or the wrong number of carpets please contact customer service immediately. The error has to be reported no later than two days after the goods have been received, reports received later will not be taken into consideration.

Transportation damages
Visible damage to the goods shall be reported directly to UPS when receiving the package. Hidden damages from transportation have to be reported to UPS as soon as they are discovered.

Seconds
Goods in the "seconds" classification have minor flaws or faults which are shown in the description of the item. Should a carpet be returned because of a known fault, there will be no compensation for shipment; the customer is held liable for shipment and return shipment.

Carpets that are not received by the customer and returned to us
Carpets that are ordered and not received or are returned to us will be charged full shipping costs both ways; namely onward and return shipping, plus and extra charge of 395 SEK including VAT for our costs. Special ordered products are charged the full value and onward shipping and return shipping.

Confidentiality when handling personal information
When placing an order or registering as a customer we will store your personal information. By doing this you accept that we store the information we need to complete the handling of your order and give you the best service you expect from us.

CarpetVista.com will not give any personal information to any third party. According to Swedish law on handling of personal information, you can get an excerpt of all information we have stored about you and, if it is not relevant, you can ask us to delete the information. In case you wish to have the excerpt please contact our customer service.

CarpetVista.com uses cookies to deliver a convenient shopping experience. Cookies are used for a number of reasons, and amongst others enable us to handle contents in your shopping cart as well as information required when logging in. We also use cookies to measure and optimise our marketing. If your web-browser is set to not accept cookies you will not be able to use the shop. If that is the case, you can easily change this setting.

Gift Certificates
The gift certificate is only valid for purchases of products sold by CarpetVista and cannot be combined with other gift certificates.

The certificate is valid until and including the date shown on the certificate.

If you buy a carpet with your gift certificate and decide to return the carpet, you will receive another gift certificate with the value of the carpet, less the shipping costs incurred during the return.

If you have any balance from a previous purchase on your gift certificate, you may use it for a carpet purchase. But if you purchase a carpet with a higher value than the gift certificate you should pay for the difference by bank transfer.

The gift certificate should be considered as cash, since it has a value and you should take care of it. CarpetVista will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged gift certificates.
