	This carpet is knotted in Pakistan using traditional techniques from Arak in Persia. The British company Zeigler and Co. in England started manufacturing these carpets for the European market in the 1870's. The patterns are often copied from Persian carpets. The wool is of high quality and the colour comes from natural vegetable dyes. Read more about Pakistani carpets here...
