Information about Mashad Sherkat Farsh carpet REI11 from Persia / Iran. This carpet is knotted in Mashad the capital in the province of Khorasan, an area in norteastern Persia. The patterns are often medallions in dark blue-red and blue nuances and the wool in the carpet is very soft. The Mashad carpets often resemble some Keshan carpets.
