Klardasht carpet | This carpet is knotted in the village of Klardasht in northern Persia. The patterns usually consists of a hexagon surrounded by white primitive lines, sometimes with a scarab in the center. The carpet usually has powerful, deep colours with red and blue in them. The pile consists of a thick, soft pile and the carpet is considered to be durable.
