Huttan carpet

This carpet is knotted in Pakistan and is inspired by Turkmenistan designs. The carpet is often manufactured by members of the nomadic tribe Tekke, which was the largest tribe in Turkmenistan. The quality of the wool is soft and glossy and the motifs are simple, in a decorative way.
